Value, Time Savings and Food Waste Prevention From The Meal Plans

Value-Time-Savings-and-Food-Waste-Prevention From The Meal Plans

On November 3, 2019, I bought the then-new annual Clean Food Dirty Girl (CFDG) meal plans, having just renewed this week for the third annual plan, at the exact same price I paid in 2019! I simply cannot talk enough about the value, time savings, and food waste prevention bundled into $216 a year.

I also need to post my annual thanks to Magalie and Carl for making Molly’s and Luanne’s ideas into a reality. Just this morning, after I pulled out two cups of leftover black beans from the freezer for my Big Ass Salad (BAS), I searched for black beans in the classroom and quickly made the rest of the previously frozen bag into hummus. My husband mentioned last night he wanted sloppy joes, so while I ate my BAS, I did a quick search, pressure cooked some lentils, and he’ll have his sloppy joes when he gets home from work tonight.

Today, I’ll buy the 7 items I need to make the SimpleHelloPumpkin plan tomorrow, and we will have food for all of our lunches and dinners for the next week. We’ve come a long way from 2016 when I first told my husband I was going Whole Food Plant Based (WFPB) and he said, “Fine, but just make me a couple of chicken dishes so I can eat throughout the week.”

Now, he’s 95% WFPB for lunches and dinners, and he talks to everyone who will listen about Clean Food Dirty Girl. To the ladies of Team Dirty, thank you thank you thank you for all that you do!
