You helped me find joy in places that used to cause me pain
I have one of your emails saved in my inbox so I can read it when I’m having a hard time. It’s titled “Next time you feel stressed or worried, do this”. I shared it with my mom too when she was going through a hard time.
The warm feeling of a friendly hug, or nudge, connection and encouragement. I like the contact, especially now since I live alone in a rural-ish area away from most of my family and friends.
They make me a little bit smarter and a little bit lighter.
Your words are always a reminder to treat myself gently, to focus on what is important and to keep eating plants! I look forward to them every single week because they are often that little bit of motivation I didn't even realize I needed!
I feel they help me let my guard down for a few moments - because your posts are so damn raw and honest. Real. And it's nice to know that other people have problems, worries, successes, weird habits, etc, too. We are all human and fall off the wagon and it's great to have an automatic weekly cheerleader in my inbox.
The raw and honest way in which you 'show up' for your fans/subscribers/cheerleaders each week is so appreciated. Your Sweary Saturday Love Letters speak to my soul. In an era where we drown in promotional emails that provide no value, your newsletter is THE one to which I look forward.
They give me a topic to either explore further or ignore. Often quite appropriate to what I'm feeling or experiencing. Usually nuggets of humor and I like laughing
