What motivated you sign up for Plant Fueled Life?

I have long aspired to follow what I thought of as a mostly plant-based, locally-sourced, mainly whole food diet. I was delighted to learn that there is a name for this, Whole Food Plant Based, and that lots of other people had the same idea.

How would you describe our recipes and Wizard Plans to your best friend?

Healthy and flexible.

What were you having a hard time with before you signed up that Plant Fueled Life helped with?

I struggled with veganism because so many recipes featured processed, imported ingredients. Locally-sourced ingredients in New England include a lot of eggs, dairy, dairy and meat. Clean Food Dirty Girl has recipes with ingredients I can find at the local grocery store or food co-op, and, depending on the season, I can use a lot of locally grown produce to make recipes with flavors and textures that differ from our old standard fare.

How has Plant Fueled Life helped you? How is your life different now that you are a member?

Simple. Wizard. Plans. These take the thinking out of [plant based] meal planning. I needed a way to make the transition require less mental energy, and the meal plans do that. I love the grocery list feature. We are still struggling with batching everything on the weekend, but we’ll get there.
