I want to share the good news in case someone out there needs the additional encouragement… my total cholesterol is maintaining its big dip from more than 400 to under 160. I dramatically changed my diet and joined CFDG more than a year ago in response to my scary numbers.
At first, I avoided nuts and avocados, but I have slowly added those back in and am glad to see that it hasn’t impacted my LDL. I still don’t eat as much of them as I’d want to, but that’s probably a good thing for my waist too:).
