If you’re not motivated, read this
You don’t need motivation to do what you said you would do.
You need grit. Fortitude. Tenacity.
No, it’s not always going to be easy. Doesn’t matter.
You aren’t always going to feel like doing it. That’s irrelevant.
Sometimes it will feel like trudging through mud uphill, sopping wet while carrying giant adult twin goats. Bleat, bleat motherfucker.
On exceptional days you might feel like throwing your yoga block directly at your mockingly cheerful houseplant. Or possibly, launching your bottle of calming essential oil spray right into the wall, hoping it breaks into a thousand tiny tranquil pieces so you can clean it up instead of doing the thing you said you were going to do (no personal experience with this whatsoever).
No, you don’t need motivation, daisies, or rainbows to get the job done.
Those are all lovely, I’m sure, but you don’t need them.
All you need to do is:
✔️ Let yourself have a freakout (throwing things is totally optional).
✔️ Remember why you’re doing the thing in the first place.
✔️ Get to work.
Sweaty. Messy. Unmotivated. Smelling like goat. Perfect.
Not being motivated isn’t a problem.
Suit up. Dig deep. GO.
