“In 2017, I started my journey with WFPB eating after watching Forks Over Knives. I was feeling terrible, so I figured I had nothing to lose.

I joined some Facebook groups and was quickly overwhelmed by the judgment and fighting. In one of these groups, I came upon the suggestion for the Clean Food Dirty Girl Facebook group.

I almost immediately dropped all the other groups and within a couple weeks signed up for meal plans! What could be better than an expert guidance for delicious meal prep?!

I found my WFPB community, and as a bonus, the recipes are delicious!

Within around 6 months, I lost 50 pounds and felt sooo much better. As a bonus, I knew how to help my husband when he was diagnosed with diabetes in 2021.

Falling back on some of my classroom favorites, I was able to prepare meals that helped him bring his A1C from 11.7 to 5.8 in less than a year.
