Don’t forget to eat
Some seasons of our lives are filled with big changes while other seasons are quiet and still, offering subtle shifts.
Change is happening whether we like it or not—all around us, every second of every day. Life is change.
It’s not so much a question of if things will change, it’s more a question of when things change, will we be okay?
We experience a wide, beautiful range of emotions depending on the changes we’re currently experiencing. Some changes fill us with enough devastation and sadness to bring us to our knees. Others fill us with so much happiness and joy that it splashes out of us in wondrous delight.
Whatever changes you’re going through right now, big and messy, or sparkly and luminous, here are some reminders:
Don’t forget to eat.
Toast with peanut butter counts.
Don’t forget to breathe.
Taking three slow, deep breaths can shift things quickly.
You are loved.
So incredibly loved.
You deserve to be happy.
Enjoy it.
There’s only so much you can control.
Do your best and let the rest go.
Go outside.
Let the fresh air kiss your cheeks.
Sadness is part of the deal.
Allow it.
Drink water.
Put some mint in it. Repeat.
Love is always an option.
You can access it anytime.
Sleep is important.
Make sure you get some.
Lean on your friends.
They love you.
Be kind to yourself.
You deserve it more than anyone else.
Whatever changes this season of your life is offering you, I’m sending you so much love, support, and encouragement. You got this.
