MY RECOMMENDED PRODUCTS
These are the things that I use almost every day and that I have recommended to my friends and readers so many times that I decided to put up a store and direct them here.
They are all items I use, recommend and were purchased with my own money.
When you click on any of the items below it will take you directly to Amazon where you can complete your purchase. I make a very small commission when you purchase any of these items. It’s one of the ways we keep the site going without serving ads that interrupt your browsing experience.

|Centrifugal $145||Masticating $268||Citrus $9.98|
I have used the juicer on the left for years. It juices up those leafy greens like magic. I prefer centrifugal juicers, but if I were to buy a masticating juicer, I would buy the one in the middle. It looks like a spaceship and it will make a gorgeous juice. A citrus juicer is one of my must haves in the kitchen. I use it at least once a day, minimum.
|Oster 6 cup 2 speed $56||Vitamix $529||Oster Travel $24|
I use the juicer on the left just because it has always worked for me. For under $60 it does a damn good job blending my smoothies, dressings, sauces, etc.. One day I will buy a Vitamix, but until then I’m happy with my Oster. The travel juicer on the right is badass and you will never be green smoothi-less during a trip ever again.
Other Kitchen Must Haves
|Pressure Cooker $46||Food Processor $99||Teapot with Infuser $29|
If you don’t have a pressure cooker, your life is about to change. I can’t imagine living without mine and once you try it you’ll see why. A food processor is another must have for any healthy kitchen. It’s impossible to make stuff like vegan ricotta and cashew cheese without it. I drink tea every single day, and a good teapot is something that every adult should have. (I also talk in an English accent when I drink tea, FYI)
|Salad Spinner $29.95||Santoku 7″ Knife $56.95||Kitchen Timer $10.92|
When you wash and dry your greens with a salad spinner they will last twice as long because they are super dry and the liquid won’t make them icky. There is really no good substitute for a salad spinner, and if you eat or are planning on eating lots of salads and greens, this will make your life easier. The knife in the middle gets put to use every single day in my kitchen and it works like a champ. A kitchen timer will save you from burnt dinner. Enough said.
Cooking Ingredients I Use Often
Cider Vinegar $4.69
|Raw Cashews (2lbs) $22||Fish Flavoring $10.85|
Apple Cider Vinegar is a must in any healthy kitchen. I use it for dressings, sauces, and sometimes I even drink it plain if I’m feeling off. My love for cashews runs deep and they make my world much more yummy. If you haven’t tried my simple cashew cheese recipe, it’s about time you did. Dulse flakes are genius for adding a fishy taste. My white bean tuna would not be the same without it.
|Liquid Aminos $3.19||Nutritional Yeast $8.49||Pacific Wakame Seaweed$4.39|
Braggs Liquid Aminos – terrible packaging, terrible name, super yummy product. It’s kind of like soy sauce and when you spray it on popcorn along with nutritional yeast (in the middle) it will take you straight to yumtown. Nutritional yeast gives things a cheesy flavor. Every vegan has this in their kitchen – I would be willing to bet a lot of money on that. Wakame seaweed is awesome for miso soup, tofu poke and seaweed salad. All three of these are staples in my kitchen.
|Ume Plum Vinegar $3.99||Nutiva Chia Seeds
|Natural Liquid Smoke $13.99|
Ume Plum Vinegar is great for sauces and dressings, or to add to steamed veggies. It has a briny, sea-like flavor. My kitchen is never without it. I put chia seeds in my juices and smoothies every single morning. They have lots of protein and have a good ratio of Omega6 to Omega3.
Coconut Flakes $3.19

Personal Items I Swear By and Use Daily
|Schmidt’s Deodorant $9||Shampoo/Conditioner 8.5oz $47.42||Aunt Flo’s BFF $26.50|
Schmidt’s is the best deodorant in the world and that’s a fact. I wrote a whole blog post about it. No other shampoo and conditioner makes my hair as silky and smooth as Pureology. It’s totally vegan and it will make you hair smell like a slice of heaven. The Diva Cup changed the way I thought about my period. I went from dreading it, to “eh, no biggie”. If you’re still using tampons, you have to try this!
|Hydro Flask 32oz $30.59||65 cm Yoga BallOffice Chair $19.99||Buckwheat Meditation Pillow$64.95|
The Hydro Flask keeps cold things cold for 24 hours and hot things hot for 12 hours. I’ve tested this in the 110° F / 43° C Arizona heat and it’s true. Ice cubes will stay frozen overnight and when the bottle sits in the hot car for hours at a time, my water is still cold. It’s a flippin’ miracle and I will never buy a regular water bottle ever again. I use a ball as my office chair. It strengthens my core as I work and then I get to stretch out my back or do some ab exercises when I need a break. My meditation pillow is used almost daily and it helps keep me grounded and focused.
|Oil Pulling 15 oz $12.85||Multi-purpose Salve $12.95||Hot Water Bottle $18.99|
I use this coconut oil not to cook with, but to use in my mouth to Oil Pull. Read all about it here. Herbal healing salve is awesome for burns, cuts, chapped lips. It’s some all purpose hippie shit and I love it. I use my hot water bottle when I have cramps, instead of taking Midol. It’s amazing how some comforting heat can sooth you and make you feel better.
|Neti Pot $13.82||Neti Salt $3.69||Spibelt $20|
I’ve been using the Neti Pot since I was a kid. You might look ridiculous while you’re doing this but that’s kind of the fun of it. The Neti Pot offers a gentle form of nasal irrigation (sexy, right?) that’s especially handy when you’re experiencing allergies, sniffles and congestion. See details on how to use it. The Spibelt is kinda like Fanny Pack but way more convenient especially when exercising or traveling. Check me out here with my Spibelt while traveling in South East Asia.

Before we were Clean Food Dirty Girl we were Bold Vegan. And before we focused on really health plant-based recipes, we created cookbooks full of vegan comfort food. Both are great for people who enjoy meat and dairy. Here’s our story on how the books came into being.
